The GP 50's were over 30 years old by then, having been acquired in 1980 around the time of the Frisco merger-in fact, the first ten were delivered to Frisco, and knocked around BN for a few years in the Mandarin Orange and white scheme. The GP 38 is a real oddball to find in Jersey, since they are almost exclusively local power, and don't usually wander-though never say never-I saw a BN SD 9 in Binghamton once. Excellent album.
